400-02, 404-06, 408-10:   Circa 1870, three-story red brick rowhouses. Outer two houses
have three registers; all others have two registers. Stone lintels and sills; modillioned wood cornice.

    North 38th Street (West Side) and Hamilton:
     
412-20:   Circa 1870, Medieval stone church. Carved wood gable over entry. Entry and 45-degree gabled front original structure. Large arched window with set window be low gable. Stone horizontal bands panel~ red. Circa 1885. Stone addition with step gabled facades along North 38th and Hamilton Streets. Tower with brick battlements at corner. Terra cotta ornament in Hamilton Street gable. Two entrances with carved wood gables along Hamilton Street. --- Contributing.

  Circa 1875, three-story, two-register red brick rowhouses with
stone lintels, and sills and wood bracketed cornice. (430. 432 aluminum covered cornice). Some door alterations. 422 which is at corner of Hamilton and North 38th has corner entrance and first floor shopfront with circa 1950s Colonial alterations. ---Contributing.
     
413   Circa 1885, three-story. two register brick house, subsequently rough casted. Bracketed wood cornice. Porch altered; first floor window awnings added. --~ Contributing.
     
435-41:   Circa 1870, Gothic Revival-style church; gabled volume with random ashlar stone walls. and pointed arch openings. Gabled porch with carved columns; fronts entrance. Above porch is large window and remains' of -crowning element. Two rows of windows at side; those at ground level shorter than above.'---Contributing.
