3433-39:   Circa 1875, two two-and-one-half story Second Empire-style rowhouse with stone facade over brick construction. The four houses share the original wood porch with ornate brackets and cornice_. First floor full-height windows. Each unit has a
second floor projecting wood bay. Double bracketed cornice below slate-shingled mansard. Gabled dormers have bracket and pierced detail. --- Contributing.
     
3505:   Circa 1885, three-story, three-register Victorian brick rowhouse. Second and third floor windows have stone arched lintels. Bracketed wood cornice has applied wood detail on soffit and fascia. Cast plaster modillions under end consoles. First floor altered early twentieth century for shopfront.-- Contributing.

3500   Circa 1870; rebuilt circa 1901. Colonial Revival. two-story, three-pavilion school building in Flemish bond brickwork with glazed headers. Pedimented pavilion; main entrance has wood portico supported by wood Tuscan columns. Limestone
stringcourse sills and flat arched lintels with keystones. The building has pressed metal dentillated cornice with egg-and-dart detail. The central block has had cornice replaced with a simpler metal one. Architect: Bunting and Shrigley. ---Contributing.
     
3510   (Working Home) circa 1890, two-and-one-half story Colonial Revival residence with stone foundation and yellow brick walls. Portico removed, all first floor openings boarded up. Central register of second floor has Palladian-inspired window configuration with fluted Doric pilasters. Original modillioned wood cornice. 3512   Circa 1865, Italianate, three-story, six-register house with modillioned wood cornice, flat roof and cupola. Ornately carved lintels. Building composed of roughcasting over brick; porch

S.E. Corner 36th and Lancaster   Circa 1890,. Colonial Revival style. Four-story apartment -building. The brick building has pressed brick string courses and arched lintel details. Tower with one-story stone entrance and half-story pressed metal cap addresses street corner. 3711 - 3741 (continues onto North 38th Street)   This entire block on Lancaster Avenue was built as a single row
of three-story brick rowhouses circa 1890. All have undergone
various twentieth century shopfront alterations and additions
except for 3711. 3713. 3717. 3719 and 3723 which appear to have retained their residential fronts. 3729, 3731 and 3723 to 3733 have turn-of-the-century style shopfronts. Only 3737 and 3739 have had the original red brick resurfaced with white stucco. A single scroll-shaped bracketed wood cornice unifies the entire block. --- Contributing.

Number 3826, the only stuccoed façade, has pedimented doorway. All but 3826 have second floor projecting wood bays; 3836, 3838 and 3840 -aluminum sided. Spring Garden (corner of Spring Garden, one on Lancaster. 3911 Lancaster.)

Circa 1900, these buildings were built as one commercial row in an eclectic Venetian Romanesque style. First floor shop fronts have been altered and all but 3911 rebricked. The Pompeiian brick row has gabled and flat, roof lines, with a central pressed metal curved bay with bell roof addressing the street corner. The composition includes rectangular and arched windows, rusticated and smooth stone trim, pressed and corbelled brick and diapering. --- Contributing.
