Colonial Revival-style apartment building; stucco over brick; pressed metal
projecting bays; central stair marked by configuration of pressed metal swan's
neck pediment, Palladian windows. and broken pediment. Pressed metal dentillated and modillioned cornice.”

In 1900, Mary C. Engard

of her children were surviving. Her daughter, Emma was born in August 1884. Mary
died on June 21, 1916 at 2802 N. 11th St. She
was born Nov. 15, 1847. She was the daughter of William L. Gray and Maria L.
Hedges (?-1894). She was married to William Engard
(1844-1918).
