with shared gabled entry intact. Decorative scrolls under wood cornice.
Slate-shingled mansard has four dormers with arched windowheads.”

He was probably built these houses about 1874.

William H. Wallace, M.D. at 1111 Callowhill St.
He was the son of William Henry and
Catherine Wallace who lived at 3414 Baring St. He
received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1864. His
essay was on respiration. He was also a graduate of Central High school in
Philadelphia. In 1873, he married Anna Mary Linn of 231
N. 36th St. (southeast corner, 36th
& Baring).
