“two-and-one-half
story Second Empire style doubles; stone facade over brick. First-floor
Victorian porches; some altered-(3703, 3705-07, 3709, 3719); four registers,
slate- shingled mansard (3701, 3705-07, 3709 asphalt); slightly arched dormer windowheads. All built by the same developer.”

30: Death of William D. W. Bennett, 29 years old, of 3703 Hamilton St. He was
single and a lawyer. He was buried at Woodlands Cemetery. His parents and
siblings lived at 3410 Race St. In 1870, they lived
at 3519 Hamilton St.

Blake and Charlotte Elizabeth Bowers were married in Philadelphia on July 23,
1890. In 1900, they lived at 3627 Wallace St. John Blake died in 1917 while
living at 3701 Powelton Ave.

In 1880, Nelson (age
5) was living with his parents and his maternal grandparents at 19 S. 38th
St. His grandfather, William Darker (56) was a wire maker born in England. His
grandmother was of Scottish descent. His father, George W. Hunt (31) was a
bookkeeper born in N.H. (or Maine). His mother was Martha Lees. George brother,
Alfred D. Hunt (20) also lived with them. Alfred later lived at 318 N. 37th St. In 1900, William Darker was
deceased. Nelson still lived at
