Dr. Wilhelmina Therese (Meader) Nelson married Robert Nelson (died 1900) in 1875. They
had one son, Rufus Edward Nelson. In 1880, she and Rufus were living with her
father, Alvin A. Meader, in West Chester. She was teaching
school. In 1900, she lived at 3727 Spring Garden St. with her father. Before
that, she lived in West Chester where she was treasurer of the Chester County
Medical Society in 1899. In 1898, she was historian for the Quaker City Chapter
of the D.A.R. In 1920, she was the physician at Moyamensing
Prison. She died in 1927 in Palmyra, N.J.
