            Clara and Frank were the children of Justice’s first wife Maria Sophia Fletcher (1822-1849). She was the sister of George A. Fletcher who later lived at 216 N. 34th St.

            Clara Cunningham Justice married Florence W. Grugan in 1866. They lived at 311 N. 33rd St.

            The Justice family moved to 319 N. 33rd St. about 1864.

1867, June 4: Title to 3300 Spring Garden St. transferred to Thomas C. Taylor by estate of Henry Clayton

1886, Feb. 2: Death of Richard Kershaw, 60 years old, of 3300 Spring Garden.

            He previously lived at 3611 Powelton Ave. He was born in England. Burial was at West Laurel Hill.

            The property was inherited by Martha Kershaw, et al.

 

1890, May 1: Title to 3300 Spring Garden St. transferred to John I. McDuffee by Martha Kershaw, et al.

            John I. Duffee was a brick maker who lived on S. 25th at the corner of Wharton St.

 

The property was subdivided.

            Dr. Wilhelmina Therese (Meader) Nelson married Robert Nelson (died 1900) in 1875. They had one son, Rufus Edward Nelson. In 1880, she and Rufus were living with her father, Alvin A. Meader, in West Chester. She was teaching school. In 1900, she lived at 3727 Spring Garden St. with her father. Before that, she lived in West Chester where she was treasurer of the Chester County Medical Society in 1899. In 1898, she was historian for the Quaker City Chapter of the D.A.R. In 1920, she was the physician at Moyamensing Prison. She died in 1927 in Palmyra, N.J.
