These houses were built by John Shedwick and sons about 1860. They are no longer standing. They were probably similar to those on the west side of the street that were built about the same time.

            She was the daughter of James B. and Mary Ferree. At the time of the first enumeration in June, 1870, she lived with them at 3404 Spring Garden St. At the time of the second enumeration in 1870 (Nov. 21) they were living at 3703 Baring St. In 1880, Moses and Alice lived at 3303 Race St.
