1898, April 28: Marriage of Susan Dear Johnston, daughter of
Edward Holland Johnston, to James Roland James. They were married at the home
of the bride by a minister from the Church of the Savior (Protestant
Episcopal), 38th and Chestnut Streets.

taken to Presbyterian Hospital in an unconscious condition having been knocked
