Rev. Robinson left Northminster Presbyterian to become pastor of the
First Presbyterian Church in Delhi, N.Y. He had previously been affiliated with
the church in Delhi and returned to fill the position left vacant by the
resignation of his father. He gave his final sermon at Northminster on March
28.

Mackie was the son of Dr. Alexander John Howie Mackie and Alice B. (Cooper)

was listed as widowed. He was pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in
Haddonfield.

“Cleo
Blanche Gayton, a church leader, educator and lecturer and wife of the Rev.
M.L. Gayton, died Friday. She was 62 and lived in the Powelton Village section
of West Philadelphia.
“Gayton,
the former Cleo Lockett, was a Christian educator and speaker in the United States
and abroad. Her husband is pastor of the Metropolitan Baptist Church, 3500
Baring St.
“A
friend and Sunday School teacher at the church, Elizabeth Prior, described
Gayton as ‘a very gracious first lady of our church for 29 years. She
profoundly touched the lives of many at home and abroad. She was always
bubbling over with concern for others. As a result of her concern for the youth
of the church and as Mother of the Youth of the Church, three generations have
been richly inspired under her guidance….’”
