            In 1920, Frank Housekeeper lived at the Aldine Hotel, 1914 Chestnut St. He was widowed. He was the son of Philip W. Housekeeper. (Elizabeth G. Housekeeper, below, was his aunt.)

 

1911: The Smith Atlas lists the owner as Elizabeth G. Housekeeper.

            Elizabeth King (260), only daughter of Joseph and Mary (Arndt) King, born at Mt. Pleasant, N. J., August 29, 1815; died at Narberth, Pa., May 14,1913. She married, October 21, 1849, Dr. Benjamin Housekeeper, of Philadelphia. He was a son of Philip and Mary (Hickman) Housekeeper, and was born in Chester County, Pa., April 2, 1807. Dr. Housekeeper spent practically all his adult life in Philadelphia. In early manhood he was a teacher in the public schools of Southwark, in the mean time taking up the study of medicine in the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania, from which he graduated in 1843. He practiced medicine in Kensington, Philadelphia, until the time of his death in March, 1870. During the Civil War he was a surgeon in the Union Army.”
