            Most of the family changed their name from McAdams to Adams after 1900.  In 1900, they lived at 617 N. 39th St.  In 1930, they lived at 442 N. 32nd. 

In 1920, their son, Hugh, Jr., was a college teacher in Baltimore.  In 1931, he married Marie S. Matson who at 404 N. 32nd St. with her parents and siblings.  In 1940, Hugh and Marie lived at 3619 Baring St.

James J. Adams married Helen Matson, Marie’s sister, in 1940.
