3800-3802: “rowhouses
with commercial first floor. 3800 has circa 1930 black and white tiled front.
3802 has Victorian wood sbopfront with elaborate cornice
detail repeated in roof cornice of both buildings. Stone segmented lintels and
sills. This row ·originally inciuded 3804 and 3806
(demolished) and 3808 (still standing). --- Contributing.”

avenue, which was bought in 1919 for a total of $15,000, have just been
sold by William H. Wilde and James H. Sheridan to Samuel W. Shermet
for $52,000. This is but one of many recent transactions in this section in
which the owners have realized a handsome return on their investments of
