            In 1920, Margaret H. Bartram was 68 years old.  She was living next door at 3630 Powelton Ave. and running it as an apartment house.

 

1908, Oct. 15: Death of Eliza J. Bartram, 61 years old, wife of William M. Bartram of 3628 Powelton Ave.

 

1910:

William M. Bartram     74        Widowed; renting

            William Bartram died in 1916 when he was living at 3632 Powelton Ave.  In 1920, Eliza and Margaret were still living there.

 

1920:

George M. Heisler       62        Railroad train inspector; born in N.J., mother born in Delaware; renting

Elizabeth Heisler         58        Born in Delaware, parents born in Germany

Lulu M. Comyns          35        Daughter; born in Delaware

John G. Comyns [Jr.]   39        Son-in-law; commercial salesman; born in Philadelphia, parents born in Ireland

            The Census lists them at 3626, but this is apparently in error.

            In 1910, they lived at 3723 Powelton Ave.  At that time, Lulu and John Comyns had been married 6 years.  John was working as a wholesale cigar salesman.  George Heisler was a car builder for the railroad.  George and Elizabeth had been married 30 years and had three children, including sons William H. and Warren E. Heisler.

            In 1930, John and Lulu Comyns lived at 3630 Powelton Ave
