            The 1867 Directory lists Charles T. his business as a bookkeeper at 232 N 3rd St. and his home at 310 N. 9th St.

            Louisa Klotz is the aunt of Emily Judd who lived next door at 3603 Powelton Ave. In 1900, Louisa was living with them. Louisa was probably the owner in 1900.

 

1883, August 9: Death of Mary Klotz, 84 years old, of 3605 Powelton Ave. She was born in Philadelphia.

 

1888, Feb. 22: Death of Charles T. F. Klotz, 60 years old; funeral at his late residence. He was born April 13, 1828.

1904, Dec. 13: Death of Mary Louisa Klotz, 85 years old, of 3605 Powelton Ave. She was buried at West Laurel Hill Cemetery.

            Michael Ignatius Crane and Mary Adelia Headrick were married in Chicago on Sept. 25, 1902. In 1910, the Crane family was living at 4265 Market St. Michael’s parents were actually born in Ireland.

            John A. Raidabaugh and Florence E. Kahn were married in Manhattan, NY on Nov. 14, 1916. He was a graduate of Cornell University in Mechanical Engineer, class of 1905. The Cornell Alumni News for 1919 reported he was assistant engineer in charge of the engineering department of the American International Shipbuilding Corp. at Hog Island, Pa. and living in the Powelton Apartments.

1935, May 24: Death of Michael I. Crane, 56 years old, of 3605 Powelton Ave. He died from acute appendicitis at Jefferson Hospital.
