1878 Scott atlas shows the row of house that are there today.
“Three-story, three-register
Victorian brick rowhouse. Second and third floor windows have stone arched lintels.
Bracketed wood cornice has applied wood detail on soffit and fascia. Cast
plaster modillions under end consoles. First floor altered early twentieth
century for shopfront” (Inventory of Buildings in Powelton from the application
submitted to the National Register of Historic Places, 1985)
