3505 Lancaster Avenue

“Three-story, three-register Victorian brick rowhouse. Second and third floor windows have stone arched lintels. Bracketed wood cornice has applied wood detail on soffit and fascia. Cast plaster modillions under end consoles. First floor altered early twentieth century for shopfront(Inventory of Buildings in Powelton from the application submitted to the National Register of Historic Places, 1985)

The 1872 G.M. Hopkins atlas shows a single house on the lot.  The 1878 Scott atlas shows the row of house that are there today.  It appears that the first floor was always a commercial space.
