The
History of the Building
3417-3419: “Second
Empire-style, two-and-one-half story, six register double at the corner of Baring
and North 35th Streets. This building is wider than most others on the street;
the original porch extends across this width and along the sides. All first and
second floor openings have arched stone lintels. Wood cornice with decorative
scrolls. Original s late mansard sheathed with asphalt shingles. Dormers have
chalet-style detail across gables.”
