1887directory lists Frederick Willits as a clerk living at 743 S. 22nd
St. He was the son of Rev. A.A. Willits, a clergyman, orator, lecturer and

2361 N. 21st St. Marian B. Hennig’s father was also a machinist at a
roller bearing factory. In 1910, they live at 4123 Parish St. The 1921
directory lists him working for the {Philadelphia Welding Co. and living at
4123 Parrish St.

1940, WWII Draft Registration:
Howard Newkumet, born Nov. 18, 1891. He worked at (owned?) the
Philadelphia Welding Co., 2419 N. Broad St. He was 6 feet tall and weighed 155.
He died in March, 1978 when he was living in Ocean Grove, N.J.
Kennth B. Newkumet joined the Army in Jan. 1945 and
served until Oct. 1946. He was married and was an accountant or auditor with a
post-graduate education.
Harry J. Newkumet enlisted in the Army Air Corps in Nov.
1941 and served until Sept. 1945. He was single and working as a welder. He had
3 years of high school.
Blair Howard Newkumet served on the U.S.S. Gleaves from
Sept. 1944 to April 1944 then on the U.S.S. Los Angeles until March 1946.
