1866, July: Deed transferred from James Kirkpatrick to James B. Ferree.

 

1878, October: Deed transferred from James B. Ferree to The Pennsylvania Co. for Insurance on Lives etc., Trustee for Jane Rogers for will of H. Hollond dec'd.

 

1879, September: Deed transferred from The Pennsylvania Co. for Insurance on Lives etc., Trustee for Jane Rogers for will of H. Holland dec'd to Craig D. Ritchie.

            The 1867 city directory lists Craig D. Ritchie, conveyancer at 508 Walnut, living at 241 N. 12th St. He was the son of William Ritchie and Susan S. Dorsey.  The 1870 census lists his real estate holdings at $20,000 and his personal property at $5,000.  He was living with his wife, Charlotte, and his cousin Mary Dorsey.  Mary had real estate worth $4,500 and personal property worth $25,000.
