3808-3810: “three-story brick double house with original Victorian porch. Splayed brick lintels, corbelled brick Cornice.”

1888 Directory: Ulmer Albert F., superintendent

 

1890 Directory: Ulmer Albert F.

            In 1893, Albert Franklin Ulmer and his wife, Cornelia, bought 3504 Hamilton St. In 1900, they lived there with their daughter, Florence, and their son, A. Frank. Albert was 59 and born in Maine. Cornelia was 52.

 

1900:

John S. Martin             45        Machinist; mother born in France; owner

Mary Martin                 28        Married 13 years, one child

William R Martin         11        Son

Ida Ruhl                       31        Sister-in-Law

Elizabeth G. Ruhl        25        Sister-in-Law

            John S. Martin and Mary Ellen Ruhl were married at the Princeton Presbyterian Church (38th and Powelton) on Dec. 13, 1886. In 1910, they lived at 446 S. 43rd St.
