1879 Directory: O'Keeffe Moses, plumber

            The 1860 census lists Moses and Ellen with two young children, Ann (8 years-old) and William H. (2). The 1868 directory lists him at 3419 Chestnut St. In 1880, they lived at 3820 Hamilton St.

1895, July 12: Death of Andrew Kane, son of William and Norah Kane of 3623 Warren St. Solemn Requiem Mass at St. James' Church. Internment at New Cathedral Cemetery.

 

1896, April 21: Permit issued to Mrs. M. Kane, owner, for a front porch at 3623 Warren St. (Inquirer)

 

1896, Dec. 19: Death of James Kane, son of the late Andrew and Mary Kane of 3623 Warren St. He died of diphtheria.

1911, Apr. 23: Death of Catharine V. Kane, 23 years old, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Kane. She died from tuberculosis. Solemn Requiem Mass at St. James' Church. Internment at New Cathedral Cemetery.

 

1917, Aug. 16: Death of Ellen A. Kane, 44 years old, daughter of the late William and Nora Kane. She was a dressmaker. Solemn Requiem Mass at St. James' Church. Internment at New Cathedral Cemetery.

 

1920:

1934, Nov 8: “The Hot Shots Social Club gave a tea at the home of Mrs. A. Reed, 3623 Warren street on Sunday. Baby Edwards entertained the guests. Clubs represented were the Balbo Blue Ribbon, 7th Ward Gunners, Fleur de Lis, Silver Dollar, and others.” (Phila. Tribune)
