“3308-3310: brick Queen Anne style double multi-pane upper lights, pent cornice, large front and side gambrels with half --timber and stucco. Tuscan columns to side porch.”

            Edith Ewald was the widow of Frederick H. Ewald.  In 1910, they lived in Riverhead, Suffolk Co., New York.  He was a retail jeweler and watchmaker.  They had been married 8 years.  In 1930, Edith Ewald, her four children, and her sister were living at 4537 Sansom St.  Dorothy was working as a social worker, Edith was a stenographer for a law firm, and Fred was an insulation worker for an electric company.

            Ila Floy Blackman and Ramona Chambers were married in Philadelphia in 1919.  He had been married previously and had at least two children with his previous wife.  In 1910, he was a private in the Army in San Diego, Calif.  In 1917, he registered for the draft in Parker, Texas.  Ramona was the only child of Joseph C. and Sophie B. Chambers of Kennett, Chester Co.  Joseph was employed as the proprietor of a greenhouse.  In 1930, Ila and Ramona were living in Haverford, Delaware Co. with two children from his previous marriage and three children from his marriage with Ramona.
