1860, Powell Bailey lived with his parents, William and Elizabeth Bailey, in West
Chester, Pa. His father was a day laborer and Powell and his older brother,
William, were carpenters. He registered for the Civil War draft in East Goshen,
Pa. in June 1863. He was still single.
In
1880, the Dibler family lived in Atlantic City, N.J. where he was a carpenter.
Amelia’s birthplace was listed as Maryland.
