1895 Directory: Clara V. Zeller widow of William H.

            A genealogy website states that William Zeller “disappeared on way home from work one payday and was never found. It was assumed he was killed and robbed.”  In 1917, she married Thomas H. Dickinson.

Henry Howard             74        Machinist; born in England, immigrated in 1830, is a naturalized citizen; owned free of mortgage

Susan M. Howard        68        Married 49 years, 4 children, 3 surviving; parents born in England

Clara V. Zeller             39        Daughter; occupation: “dental;” widowed, 3 children, 2 surviving

            In 1900, Clara Zeller’s son, Jay Hay Brown Zeller, was a student at Girard College. He was born in Mt. Joy, Pa., in 1888.

 

1905, April 14: Death of Henry H. Howard, 79 years old, burial at Montrose Cemetery.

 

1907, Aug. 3: Death of Susan M. Howard, 75 years old, burial at Montrose Cemetery. She died from breast cancer.

            In 1910, Clara Zeller lived at 417 N. 32nd St.

 

1910:

James Agnew               27        Bookkeeper for bottling co.; renting

Agnes Agnew              22        Married 2 years [he says 3]

            James Agnew and Agnes G. Bent were married in Philadelphia in 1908.

 

1910, Nov. 11: Death of Mary Kehl, widow of William Kehl. Funeral at her late residence, 3214 Hamilton St.
