was increased by 25 feet by his purchase in Dec. 1868 of 3206 Baring St. which
extended back behind these lots.

probably his mother. In 1880, William and Octavia lived at 4031 Oregon Ave. They
had a son, Caldwell (8), and a daughter, Elsie (5). In addition, William’s
mother, Susan Clark (65) was living with them. Octavia’s father was born in
France and her mother in England. In 1900, William and Octavia lived at 3727
Locust St. which they owned with a mortgage.
