The History of the Building

 

1872, The G. M. Hopkins. Atlas shows the owner as Mary H. Thomas.

 

The original house was replace by a “Circa 1960, three-story yellow brick rectangular residential building with orange brick entrance bay. Paired windows. South facade of building extends along Pearl Street.”

            George D. Miller and Ann C. Thomas were married at the Friends (Quaker) Monthly Meeting, West Chester, Chester, Pa. on Oct. 17, 1865.  He was the son of Levis Miller and Ann McIlvain.  Her parents were Isaac and Mary H. Thomas.

1919, June 21: Death of George D. Miller, 80 years old, of 313 N. 33rd St.. He was the son of Levis Miller and Ann McIvain.  Burial was at Media Cemetery.
