            In 1905, Joseph T. Richards was Chief Engineer of Maintenance and Way for the Pennsylvania Railroad.  He was also First Vice President of the West End Trust Co., and a member of the Boards of Directors of the Ridge Avenue Bank, the First National Bank (Clifton, Pa.), and the Halifax and Yarmouth Railway Co.
