History

 

1866, Feb. 19: Title transferred to Lizzie R. Marshall by Hugh McIlvaine

 

1868, Nov. 1: Death of Amelia W. Marshall, 70 years old, of 325 N. 33rd St.  She was married.  Burial was in Chester Co., Pa.

 

1870, Jul. 1: Title transferred to Abraham Walker by Lizzie R. Marshall

 

1870:  Vacant at second enumeration (November)

 

1871, Nov. 1: Death of Abraham N. Walker, an infant, son of Abram and Rebecca Walker of 325 N. 33rd St.; burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

 

1876, Oct. 16: Death of Rebecca M. Walker, 40 years old, of 325 N. 33rd St.; born in Philadelphia, married; burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

            Abraham and their children moved to 3316 Race St. then to 3415 Baring St.

            In 1890, they lived at 3834 Baring St.  Isaac M. Davis died May 1, 1891.  In 1900, Thomas William and Fannie E. (Davis) Davidson lived in Norwood, Delaware Co., Pa.  In 1910, they were back in Philadelphia and living 5132 Larchwood Ave.  They were married about 1875 and remained childless.  He was a minister in the Protestant Episcopal Church and in 1893, was secretary of the North-west convocation at 2340 N. 19th St..

 

1881, April 8: Death of Mattie Kate Davis, of 325 N. 33rd St. She was single and was born in Philadelphia.  Burial was at Monument Cemetery.

            Caroline was the widow of Augustus Davis.  In 1880, they lived at 1600 Mt. Vernon St.  He was born in N.J. and was a manufacturer of railroad supplies.  They had a daughter, Carrie, who was 16.  However, they also had 3 other children in the household.

 

1903, Jan. 11: Death of Caroline B. Davis, 80 years old,, widow of Augustus B. Davis of 403 N. 33rd St.; internment at Mt. Moriah Cemetery

            Mary Belle (Sollers) Frieshmuth was the widow of John Pierre Frishmuth (1868-1909).  They lived at 1109 Wallace St.  He was a physician at the American Hospital for Disease of Stomach.  He was an 1890 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

 

1916, May 5: Title transferred to Roland R. Foulke by J. Robert Foulke, deed by Abraham Walker

 

1917 Draft Registration: Clifford Everest Frishmuth, born June, 1900.  He was a U.S. Mail carrier.

            In 1930, the elder Mary Frishmuth was living at 3615 Chestnut St.  John Pierre Frishmuth died Feb. 6, 1920.  He was an inmate at the Pennsylvania Training School for Feeble-Minded Children where he died from epilepsy.  Clifford Everist Frishmuth was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa at the University of Pennsylvania.  He married Ann Ellen Hudson Prettyman in 1924.

 

1921, Jun. 27: Title transferred to Fidelity Co., Mary B. Frishmuth and Clifford P. McCurdy, Trustees by Roland R. Foulke

 

1922, Jun. 6: Title transferred to Adelaide P. Cella, wife of J.J. Cella by Fidelity Co., Mary B. Frishmuth and Clifford P. McCurdy, Trustees

            In 1920, Adelaide and Joseph J. Cella lived at 3301 Spring Garden St.  they had a 15 year-old daughter, Margaret.  He was an electrician.

            From at least 1908 until at least 1920, Joseph J. and Adelaide (McLaughlin) Cella lived at 3301 Spring Garden St.  They had a daughter, Margaret who was 15 years-old.

            Charles Nelson and Margaret Georgia (Eastman) Rochell later lived at 3840 Baring St.

 

1937, Feb. 24: Death of Joseph J. Cella, 61 years old, of 403 N. 33rd St.; burial at St. Dominic's Cemetery
