1900:  Caroline Farren Comly received the degree of B.L. from Swarthmore College.

            Marion S. Comly was a senior at Swarthmore studying German.

 

1901, Sept. 11: Death of Lydia T. Comly, wife of Robert Comly and daughter of the late George T. and Elizabeth B. Atkinson of Mullica Hill, N.J. of 3311 Arch. She was a member of Race St. Meeting.

 

1902, Dec. 16: “Marriages: Bacon-Comly.  On Twelfth month 16, 1902, at the residence of the bride’s father, under the care of the Monthly Meeting of Friends of Philadelphia, held at Race street, Ellis W. Bacon, son of Thomas P. and Annie E. Bacon, and Helen A. Comly, daughter of Robert Comly and the late Lydia T. Comly  (Friends’ Intelligencer)

            Ellis Bacon lived with his parents at 3212 Baring St.  The couple moved to 3603 Baring St.

 

1903: Marion S. Comly graduated from Friends’ Central School.

1906: Marriage of Caroline F. Comly to Edson S. Harris

            He graduated from Swarthmore in 1902.  In 1900, he lived with his parents and his grandmother at 605 N. 15th St.  In 1910, they lived in Aston, Delaware Co., Pa. where he was a civil engineer.

            In 1930, Marion Comly was living with her older brother, George W. Comly, in Rose Valley, Delaware Co.  He was 55 years old and a mechanical engineer.  Neither of them was married.

 

1920, June 22: Death of Robert Comly
