This house is no longer standing.

 

314-336 N. 31st St. were acquired by the Penlaun Corp. between about 1947-1950. The houses were torn down and the area sold to the Pennsylvania Laundry Co. about 1951. They are now part of Drexel Park.

1865, Dec. 30: Deed transferred from John Shedwick (builder) to Isaac Y. Wood.  The property was later inherited by Susan Wood and then to Ida L. Williams, et al.

 

1870:

            The 1860 census lists him living in the area. The 1862 directory lists his as a builder at N. 32nd St. above Lancaster (9 N. 32nd St.).
